Strengths	Weaknesses
Looking at my first initial idea, I can see that the focus group has understanded the storyline.   A strength that we understood as a focus group and think it will give this same understanding to the audience.	A weakness that has been found is that the public could understand in a wrong way whilst filming.  Another weakness will be that my friend’s car might not be free on the specific day I’ll be filming.
Opportunities	Threats
The opportunities I’ll have doing this is raise awareness to the audiences to be safe in a comedic way.   Another opportunity is that women’s empowerment and safety is promoted and audiences should always seek for advice.	Threats that I may come across is the resources that I would be using is having issues. For example, memory card is full or the battery of the camera runs out.   Another threat that possible could happen is that the person who’s presenting the character could be getting sick and I would strictly want the same person to present the character. Therefore, the deadlines will be postponed

Strengths	Weaknesses
Discussing with the focus group we spoke about what the film is explaining to the audience. Which we came up that it is a powerful storyline.	With the focus group we came to a decision that the idea of the dragging the customer could be explicit violence.   Another weakness possibly could be climate. If the weather is poor, it could make it harder to film whilst the floor is muddy and slippery.
Opportunities	Threats
We have discussed that it could be educational to the audience. By reminding them to limit the alcohol at a party or club to reduce the chances of being hungover the next day or to be spiked. This also raises awareness to the audiences.	A threat that was discussed with the focus group is when I go to the forest the weather might not be the best. Therefore, it could postpone the video shoot to another day due to safety. Another threat that possibly could happen is my dad’s restaurant not being available to film or it will be packed.

 

Idea 3: Girl gets kidnapped, her brother planned it  

Strengths	Weaknesses
For my 3rd initial idea, the focus group liked the thought of it by saying no body would actually think that their brother would kidnap them. Therefore, it is a very good plot twist.	Weaknesses that possibly happen is when filming in the car the camera possibly will be shaking due to speed. As well as speeding is not safe
Opportunities	Threats
An opportunity to look unique because of the location I chose which was the Dockland. The atmosphere is good matches the storyline of being mysterious and is unique bin comparison to others film.	Threats that possibly can affect the stage time is if the Dockland is bus and has several people around, we could accidentally film without there consent which may lead to fines or lawful actions. This will increase the amount on time on the filming process and may even jeopardise filming my short film film overall.

Post production tools

 During the whole process of editing my short film on final cut pro, I had used several editing techniques that I will be discussing. These techniques are what made my short film successful and without them, there will be no sharp and professionalism along with it.

The first editing tool I used when uploading footage to final cut pro is the trimming tool. This is because there are scenes that are either too long or have unecessary bits in them as well as scenes that are perfect with imperfections. Therefore, the trimming tool is always convenient for us to use as well as is a necessity in order to correct and turn footage into content. As you can see in the image above, some of the footage is longer then others and some are shorter, that is because of two reasons, one being they were filmed at different lengths and two some where edited and cropped as it wasn't needed. 

A second editing tool I had used is adding voice audios in as of the wind being too loud. This was my downfall as my main character was not in and will not be attending school any time soon which set same back as I cannot record her voice in the short period of time, therefore she has another persons voice over certain scenes that needed to be voiced over. However, I tried my best matching the voice audios along with the footage of Zara (Rebecca) acting. As you can see in the image above, I have added several aspects of voice overs and sound edits in. 

A third and forth editing tool I have used is placing a text tool on top of a beam. This allowed my title to be placed as well as having red that represents blood from being a vampire. This was easy and an easy way to add text over an image or video. You simply just pick which type of text and how it transforms on the screen. The forth editing tool that is also in this image is blending the audio. Now as you can see that from having the first audio which is a chicken sound to then having music played, i had blended them both opposite one another so when the chicken sounds stops its not sudden it is faded out and then when the music starts its faded in. This gives my short film a very smooth and successful flow. 

Last but not least, we have the overlapping technique I used, This technique is when two videos are playing at once however one aspect is that it is on top and the opacity is helping the faint vision. This helped my short films success as it showed the point of view that everything is fuzzy in her memory and she's in disbelief. I believe this element really allowed and supported my short film to be up lifted.  

Export format

 I exported my final edit and many other clips like my rushes video, offline edit and first draft the same way. Bellow I will insert images of my step to steps on how I manage to get my short film onto YouTube from final cut pro. 

In the image bellow, I have gone and created the final cut pro into the master file in order to upload it onto YouTube. 

I then had to check the settings and adjust the settings on the video code to Hp option. In order for it to be ready for uploading.

I then checked the background tasks on final cut pro to check if the video is uploading and developing into a MPV. 

Once this was completed and the video was formed and transferred. I went onto YouTube and selected the MPV to upload it on YouTube. 

Further more, I had to go through all the steps in the process of uploading and selected what video setting should be on there which is the unlisted section and that the footage is not made for children purposes.  

Wait until the video is uploaded then the exporting format is completed to the max.
